Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 June 2026

This policy explains what UniCybers Labs ("we", "us") collects when you use the free tools at labs.unicybers.online, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By signing up to use the tools you agree to this policy.

Who we are

UniCybers, operating UniCybers Labs and UniCybers Academy. Registered office at Bharat Towers, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 530016, India. For any privacy question, contact training@unicybers.online or call +91 86880 22686.

What we collect

When you unlock the tools we ask for, and store, the following:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your phone number, only if you choose to give it.
  • Your college or organisation, and your role.
  • Your confirmation that you are 18 or older and that you accept this policy.

As you use the tools we also record basic usage information: which tool was opened, the time, an anonymous access token stored in your browser, and any technical error the tool produces. This helps us see what is being used and fix what breaks.

Anything you type into a tool to run it, such as a domain name or a CIDR range, is processed to give you the result. Most tools run entirely in your browser. Where a tool must contact a third party to work, that is stated on the tool itself, see Third party services below.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give at sign up. We use it to:

  • Give you access to the tools.
  • Keep the tools working and diagnose problems.
  • Contact you about UniCybers courses, workshops and updates that relate to what you came here for.

You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, see Your rights.

How we store it

Sign up details and usage logs are stored in Google Workspace (Google Sheets) under access controlled UniCybers accounts. A small access token is stored in your browser using local storage so you are not asked to sign up again.

How long we keep it

We keep sign up details for as long as your relationship with UniCybers is active and for up to [retention period, for example 24 months] after your last activity, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Usage and error logs are kept for a shorter period needed to monitor and improve the tools.

Sharing

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We use trusted service providers to operate, mainly Google for storage. Tools that call an external service send only what is needed for the lookup, and that is shown on the tool. We may disclose data where the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent. Email training@unicybers.online and we will act on your request. If you are in India, you have these rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules. If you are elsewhere, equivalent local rights may apply.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising cookies. We use one small item in your browser's local storage to remember that you have signed up, so the tools open without asking again. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

Children

The tools are for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 through this site. Where minors take part in a UniCybers workshop, their participation and any consent are handled separately and offline with a parent or guardian.

Where your data is handled

UniCybers operates from India and Botswana, and uses Google's infrastructure. Your data may be processed in these locations. We apply this policy wherever it is handled.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
